The Player gets in a good athletic stance. A good athletic stance looks like:
Both feet are pointing forward.
Their dominate foot is slightly in front of them and their off foot should be approximately 1/2 foot length behind the dominate foot (staggered stance).
Their feet should be slightly wider than their shoulder width.
Knees should be slightly bent. As players thighs become stronger, they should strive to bend their legs more.
Triple threat is achieved by placing the ball in front of their hip on their dominate side. Their dominate hand should be on top of the and their off hand should be on the side of the ball. The ball should be tucked in tight to the body.
From this position, the Player has the ability to quickly dribble, shoot, or pass the ball.
